About Nejang Tibetan Yoga

Tibetan Self Healing Yoga

Nejang is a set of very gentle yet effective practices that complement spiritual practice and meditation, strengthen the physical core, foster healing, and promote longer, healthier lives at the concerted level of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Nejang literally means purifying the energy locations of the body.

Beginning with the Nine Purification Breaths (known as “expelling the dead air”), and using visualization and Bumpa Chen (the vase breath), we will cleanse and balance the internal energies and organs by unblocking knots within the body’s subtle energy channels.  We will also learn the twenty-four self-massage and stretching exercises prescribed by Tibetan physicians for centuries, energetic movements that serve as the foundation of this ancient healing system.
